D.I.in Una Steiner M.sc is a writer & transmedial artist from Vienna, Austria.
She holds a master’s degree in architecture from the Technical University of Vienna and an SAE diploma in digital film.
She studied a year abroad in NYC, USA with focus on urban design, music and film analysis and took and takes part in various writing classes as well as voice trainings.
In her artistic work she deals with spatial and power relations, with questioning, changing and breaking with traditions and roles in society.
She also works as a camerawoman with a focus on event camera (opera, concerts, comedy, galas) and documentary, live-directing and in the camera department (mainly as 2nd AC and video playback operator) for feature films and TV series.
